As a professional artist with a career spanning over four decades, William Mangum has fashioned a multifaceted business, but has always kept sight of the challenges others face.

A chance meeting in 1987 with a homeless man named Mike Saavedra forever changed Bill’s perspective on life. Their friendship made Bill realize he could use his artistic talent to help the less fortunate. For over 35 years, Bill’s artwork has been utilized to raise awareness and funds by a multitude of non-profits, including United Way, Hospice, the Mental Health Society, and his own Honor Card Program.

As a volunteer and advocate, Bill has utilized his gifts to raise nearly $11 million through the Honor Card Program, supporting agencies caring for the homeless and needy. Today, with the ever-growing housing crisis, Bill’s mission has broadened to support agencies addressing that issue.
