The First Honor Card debuted in 1988 supporting the outreach program to serve the needy and homeless with Greensboro Urban Ministry. Today the popularity and strength of the program has expanded to thirteen different communities and cities across North Carolina.
With the generous support of Wells Fargo Bank, Mike and Sarah Kearny and William Mangum Gallery, Honor Cards are provided to each agency at no expense. Honor Cards raise community awareness about the needs of the
homeless as well as much needed funding.
Since its inception the Honor Card program has generated more than Five Million Dollars to support those that have stumble along life’s journey.
To learn more about how you can support the needy and homeless contact an Outreach Agency close to you. They would be happy to assist you in acquiring Honor Cards and informing you of opportunities to volunteer.
